Dance the Night Away

Hello friends. This past weekend was Michal Kate's dance recital and though it is very tiring, it is a lot of fun and the girls did great. I took lots of pictures so here is a small sampling.
Here is Michal Kate in her tumble/cheer costume. We were so proud of her, she has really been trying to get a cartwheel down and at the dress rehearsal, she did it for the first time! Then continued to do them in the recital the next day!

Here is Madi, Michal Kate's super close friend, Michal Kate, and Milo posing at the end of their routine.

Here is a cool picture I took, just wish I had a taller ladder so I could get all the way above them. This picture and the one to follow of the ballet shoes are now a tradition. In clockwise order; Gracie, Emma Kate, Grace, Maya, Kyla, MacKenzie, Michal Kate, and Anna Kate.

Michal Kate in her ballet costume. The theme this year was weather and this is her Castle on the Cloud outfit. The costumes were amazing this year, just wait until you see her tap outfit.
And the tap outfit. Left to right: Michal Kate, MacKenzie, Maya, Kyla, Anna Kate, Grace, Elise.

Can't help it, I love this picture.

I also had to post an update picture of Emorie. She wanted to dress in her outfit for the recital and I love it.
Yes, she is starting to smile!
Love you all,

Noah's Last Game of the Season

Saturday was Noah and the Green Monsters last game of the year. They played "real" rules for the first time all season which I think confused the boys a little. Noah was a little disappointed because he only got to bat once because the first half of the line up there were three outs so they went back to fielding. But oh boy, he made the best of his up to bat!!! He hit the ball off the first pitch and it went flying towards second! We were so excited for him and he was beaming as he ran after being tagged out at second. We are so happy he had this opportunity and thankful for a fun season.

His coaches and friends from church Jake and Jeremy.
We are so proud of you Noah and pray that you enjoy this time in your life. We know that most are taking this very seriously at the ages of 3-6 and in t-ball, but our prayer is that you would have a blast and enjoy the game. We love you, can't wait for next season.

1 Month

Wow! I can't believe she is a month old already. Weighing in now at 8 lbs 15 1/2 oz and 21" she is an even bigger bundle of joy than a month ago. Emorie is a joy and a good baby. She really only fusses when she is hungry or sleepy. I am enjoying getting to play dress up with her, in fact my mom told Emorie that she thinks that I think she is a baby doll. (That's what girls are for, right?)

Mother's Day

Mother's Day this year was a great day. I was in Dallas with all four kids for the weekend to be with my mom and the rest of my family. We celebrated Saturday night with my brother and sister and their families then on Sunday the kids and I went to church and we met Tracy and her family again for lunch. After lunch I made an attempt of a photo with all four kids for the first time.

I hope each of you are as blessed as I am to have a mother as wonderful as mine. She is beautiful inside and out. She if filled with God's love and shares it with everyone she comes in contact with. I love you mom!

My pictures

I decided to see what I could do with my camera and I took some pictures of Emorie just for fun.

T-ball pictures

Some how I missed the announcement that tonight we were having Noah's T-ball pictures. We got there after being called to be reminded and got our trading card photo taken, and of course the team shot. It was humorous watching about 6-8 adults trying to line up 13 3-6 year olds for the team picture along with the 3 coaches! I think we got a decent shot though. I of course stood behind the photographer and took some of my own, so I thought I would share them with you.
